After living in Beaufort for eight years, and moving due to military orders, Pam was a God-send as a property manager and real estate agent. Pam managed two properties for us for over a decade and has been absolutely fantastic.  We have employed over ten different property managers in three different states, and Pam is the best by a wide margin. Pam Johnson managed my home in Beaufort, SC (for 3 years) which is now Sold. I took so much for granted having her as my Property Manager as now I have a home I rent out in Charleston, SC. Thank you, Pam, for taking such good care of our house and our 2 lab dogs when listing our house for sale for us. I would not have been able to rest easy with any other realtor than you. With our 2 lab dogs running everywhere, showing of our home was not the easiest, our constant fear that other agents would show and accidentally not lock fence gate securely to make sure our dogs stayed safe would have been a huge worry for us. The fact you came for each showing (even when other agents showed our home) and took our dogs for a walk during showing and made sure they were safe and sound the entire time, was beyond your profession, yet a piece of mind to my family that is appreciated more than you could ever know. My fiance and I decided to make Beaufort our forever home. In hopes of doing that, finding a rental became much more of a hassle than we initially thought it would be. We unfortunately did not find ourselves in the hands of good property managers until we met with Pam. We contacted two companies prior to meeting with Pam; Both companies were the opposite of helpful, we paid for applications and thought we were going to get two different houses, just to find out we were about the 10th applicant and it had been rented a week prior. Both companies did not respond to our calls or emails. Then we were lucky enough to meet Pam, who was managing a beautiful home that wasn't on the market long and had the interest of many people. We called Pam and she told us we could come see it. She has been by far the most helpful person just explaining the process to us and taking the time to listen to our questions, whether she gets asked the same questions over and over. We didn't realize how intense the housing market is in that area. Pam answered every call or text message we sent even when she was ordering pizza. She was very welcoming and overall, just a blessing that we needed. I think Pam would be a phenomenal asset to any owner looking for a Property Manager. We won't be suggesting either one of those companies to any of our peers. My husband and I travel a good bit as I am a traveling nurse, we have used other property managers in the past and I must say our experience with Pam far exceeds others. From the beginning, she has been instrumental in making the entire rental process pleasant. The quarterly inspections were scheduled in a way to not be disruptive and a great way to protect both of us as tenants and the property owner.
